A Welcome from our Headteacher,
Miss Embleton
Dear Parents
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you and your child to Christ Church CE (VA) Junior School. Thank you for considering or choosing us to play a crucial role in your child's academic, physical, emotional and spiritual development over the next few years. We are truly honoured to do this. Our strong Christian vision and values underpin everything we do, guiding us in fostering kindness, respect, and a sense of belonging among everyone in our school community.
We pride ourselves on the welcoming, inclusive and nurturing nature of our school - one where every child is known and valued for their unique and infinite potential and we aim to ensure that everyone feels valued for who they are, so that they are able to grow in faith, learning and love during their time at our school.
Our goal over the next four years is to help your child become an independent, confident and successful learner. Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff are committed to providing a rich and engaging curriculum that inspires curiosity and a love of learning. We will nurture their academic, sporting and creative talents to the best of our ability so that your child can reach their potential and truly be the best they can be, preparing them to be confident, resilient and hopeful individuals ready to impact the world in front of them.
At Christ Church, we see education as a partnership between school, home, and the wider community. We value the involvement of parents and carers and believe that open communication and collaboration are key to each child’s success. We look forward to working closely with you so that you are part of your child's school life, and part of our school family. During the school year there will be opportunities for you to visit the school, discuss your child’s progress and join in a wide range of activities. In addition, if you wish to offer your help and skills, this is always most appreciated!
I hope this website provides you with a glimpse into the vibrant life of our school, and the many opportunities available for your child to thrive. You are very welcome to come and visit our school, or ask any questions, I will be delighted to help.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school family.
